As military women and wives, our own health can sometimes take the back burner, especially in light of other pressing issues, like an impending PCS or deployment. This is your reminder that you're important, too!
Join Jen as she talks to Ashley Gammon about giving ourselves permission to take time to refuel, ask for help, and find ways to incorporate self care, even if you're a busy mom with lots of little ones.
Ashley has a background in health and is a certified personal trainer, MUTU Pro, and M.O.M.S. (Military Outreach Mutu System) Community manager. This program promotes pelvic floor and core health for women in pre and postpartum stages of life, and we're talking about what's not normal when it comes to our bodies and ways to better care for ourselves.
As Ashley reminds us, "You matter. You're important."
